Sent my application on May 30th. I guess, NS received around the 1st week of June (sent from United States).
My draft got cashed on Jul 13th.
Still waiting for any kind of communication from them (email/snail mail etc)

Just take a copy of your certified cheque or money order whatever you have used containing the cheque information to the issuing bank and tell the teller that you want to track your cheque to know whether it has been encashed by the beneficiary or not yet, they will check in their system and tell you if it is encashed or still outstanding.

how long time to take now
ALL READY 2 MONTHS BUDY still waiting aor no no no respose for sydney nova scotia office
My application under federal skilled worker economic class  and fast track also so
why they took  long time icant understand this is rediculas .

My application was sending  from sydney australia to sydney nova scotia  on 19 th of may but still waiting for aor

application reached vancouver - 25 may
application reached nova scotia office - 1 st of june

and address is also correct so whats wrong budy

Hi Guys.. I just got the email from CIC saying that my first application has been considered and that my case has been forwarded to the New Delhi CIC.

Here are date stats :

Application sent on 5th June'09
Received on 12th June'09
Email Received on Aug 7th'09.

Have 120 days from now to submit the documents. Feeling nervous.

Today is the 70Th day i have sent my application to Nova Scotia. Till Today there is no response. I asked the Post Office, they said It has reached Canada, when i asked them show me the Proof , I was told contact the canadian Post, from here it has gone already. I asked the Exchange where i made the DD of 1100 CA$. They said ask, we do not know If it has en cashed or not, ask the receiver of DD. what a shame.I am living in UAE.

I am also from Pakistan. Can you pls let me know From which bank you prepared Demand Draft, Did you make it in Canadian Dollars ? And where did u submit your Application, i mean in Islamabad or to NovaScotia canada ?

Dear Zia,

I got the DD from Standard Chartered Bank and I submitted the application to Nova Scotia Canada.

Tell me that, do you know how the DD can be verified by bank. I requested them to verify but they told be that they can't do it. Receiver can be asked for it.
