There are two ways to appear in IELTS -brtish and IDP . fees for both is Rs 7200 . There is no difference between the two . You can choose anyone. You can apply online also.

Congratts Meena! I'm a bit wonder why it takes too long time?

Anyways, so far I know only IELTS general is acceptable to CIC.

Hi Meena

Listening, Reading, and Writing are covered on Day 1.

Listening: We would be given wireless headsets. Please check it before getting started.
Reading: Is more into testing your abilities to read a passage and answer questions based on them.
Writing: General essay type

Speaking is covered the following day. An IELTS english language expert will test your english speaking skills by starting a normal conversation, which will be recorded.

Hope this helps :)

Thanks
Madhava
