application sent On 23 JUne 2010, Recieved In Canada on 28 June 2010

I am very worried , its been 90 days now and i havent received any reply from the Canadian immigration Nov Scotia.I applied in NOC 0111 ,but my application was received on 28 th June 2010.I have no idea whether my application has been refused or it has been put into the processing ..Please help me and guide me what could be the possible outcome.

Officially applications received after June 25th will be counted under the new rules, and since yours arrived on June 28th it should be assessed under those rules in which your 0111 NOC does not qualify.

However, I did hear that they may be allowing applications up until June 28th to allow for postal delays etc. Applications which have failed because they are no longer on the NOC list have been reported to be returned fairly quickly.

Are you able to check if your credit card was charged or banker's draft cashed? If not, then you should be able to phone CIC since it's been after 90 days and ask what is the status of your application. I think if you had failed because of missing the old deadline you would have heard by now, so there is a chance they will still count it.

Don't be so worried. You can call CIO to find out your application status. But most probably you will get a big NO because application was received after 26 jun 2010.
However as your application is not returned and its dispatch date was 23rd Jun 2010 so there may be a confusion about it and so your application could be processed.
So its better to wait as even May applicants are waiting for their turn. Otherwise applications received after 26 jun 2010 are not eligible under old rules and you may withdraw your application any time.

 @  Cappuccino ...... Thanx 4 ur reply , The last time I checked my bank draft like 3 weeks ago it wasn't cashed yet. So lets see what happens .Can you please tell me how to contact CIO , n whom to contact ..like ne number or e-mail through which I can check my application status. Please pray that I get to hear a gud News .... and is it really true or just a news that application my be counted till jUne 28 due to postal delay s???



 @  Rizwan ... Do u have any idea that application that landed after June 26th have been returned back or not ...and please tell me the way to contact CIO office ......
