Hi friends,
Just received email response from sydney office about forwarding the supporting documents to buffalo office.
My timelines:
Sent on May 29(my application was returned when I originally sent on April 29 first because I sent the fees of 550 USD and not CAD)
Response received from Sydney office by email: today

I have a question:
1. I have my IELTS score card. Do I need to send this myself to Buffalo office OR do I need to request the IELTS office to send the score card to Buffalo office?

2. Do I need to wait for the mail from Sydney office or just go ahead and proceed sending the documents?

3. Should I take printout of the documents that I sent to Sydney office (just change it to today's date on the signatures)?

Thanks in advance.

rocky272727: you should hear soon too as your timelines are exactly same as mine. I t seems my draft  was encashed on June 18.

CIO seems to be sending AOR through emails these days instead of sending through post. please go ahead and send your documents.

3. Should I take printout of the documents that I sent to Sydney office (just change it to today's date on the signatures)? do you mean the forms that you sent to sydney? yes this should be fine. also, if you there is any change in the form, please do so and explain the changes in a cover letter.

Thanks in advance.

do you have the tracking number that you can track?
if you are sure it reached the sydney office, i think you should hear from them soon as it may take between 1-2 months to hear from them (on an average..it could be more these days)..

also make sure you check your email spam folder regularly so that you do not miss their email..these days, they are sending email about their decision first rather than through post or mail...

good luck.

Hi,

Mine reached there on 29th May 09, Draft cashed on 23rd June 09. No sign of any communication from CIO. It seems that CIO does not have any systematic process to carry on assessment and all. I know the system they use is CAIPS assisted but I fail to understand how can the timelines differ so much when such cases are almost similar at initial stages.
