Hi Guys.. I just got the email from CIC saying that my first application has been considered and that my case has been forwarded to the New Delhi CIC.

Here are date stats :

Application sent on 5th June'09
Received on 12th June'09
Email Received on Aug 7th'09.

Have 120 days from now to submit the documents. Feeling nervous.

Heartily Congratulations jenny.can.
Wish you all the best; i guess you might have already been in the middle of collecting the docs.
All the best for your next set of steps!!

You have opened up hopes for many around here.
It all looked like the AORs from CIO had frozen for more than 2 weeks.  Looks like its flowing once again - does n't matter the lead time; but more important is - its moving once again!

The email did not give me the number of points I gathered. Is there any place I can find that?

Thank you

jenny.can;
some body of the thought that points are calculated in CHC; not CIO - logical explanation: how can they calculate Language proficiency without IELTS, etc.

So, possibly you have count by yourself.

Only barrier you have passed now is your job is in 38 categories list; and as per CIO the job duties match as well at high level.

Further scrutiny happens at CHC.

Hope it helps.

By the way, would you mind answering my query: "Would you mind sharing the date of encashment of your DD?"
