I have heard that many members application are rejected due to credit card payment error.
Could you please let me know the banks ? And did someone application crossed the payment by creadit card.

Do we need to issue any kind of special instructions to CC?

I have submitted my application and payment option selected as CC.

Please help what can I do?

Thanks

IMO there is always some risk paying by credit card, since most (if not all) credit card companies have automated anti-fraud software and if they see a transaction from Canada the automated software can put a block on it. Even if you contact the credit card company before-hand to tell them to expect the transaction it can still go wrong.

The only totally safe option is banker's draft, which is guaranteed to clear as long as it is cashed with the valid period (usually 6 months). Of course the downside of this is that is it harder to tell when it is cashed than to simply look at your credit card statement, but you can find out before purchasing the draft whether it is possible for the bank to tell, and how quickly and cheaply they will do this (some banks apparently charge for finding out - our bank HSBC did it for free).

Banker's drafts will cost a fee but IMO the £20 it cost us for the draft far outweighed the risk of having our application returned due to payment problems.
