When I contacted the Buffalo office, they asked me not to follow e-cas as it does not show accurate information for cases processed outside Canada. So, I am not sure if we should get excited about any change on e-cas

hey guys
so I noticed today actually. It seems my address is gone too. i think it happened when the thing changed to in process.
funny thing you mentioned about the 12 months, I don't want to be a downer or anything but after just about 14 months my status changed to in process. and I am badly hoping by the end of 15 months I get this ppr thing. by the way should I send them the money order for the ppr or should I wait till they send me the request? I am so confused that my brain pretty much stopped working

I dont know what to tell you, honestly! I was thinking the same and I am not sending it. The last thing I want is I send my bank draft and the files get transferred or they ask for PPR and while the draft is in transit. Actually, I have noticed a couple of people whose files were actually in Buffalo but they emailed ottawa and they told them their file was with detroit. But, the applicant never got an email about the transfer. If its in process, I would assume its jut a matter of time that you hear the good news...

I've noticed that anytime I email them to ask for a status update something happens on my ECAS a few days later but that could be coincidence. So whereas ECAS isnt a reliable tool generally, I think some VO's actually use it.

 I am actually getting worried because I think my PCC expires soon....so I'm guessing this will be another delay if they ask me to redo it
