I have been looking at some cases lately and it seems some cases at the very end of the process are being sent to ottawa and then back to buffalo. It could be that ottawa does the crim check and to fill it in our file, buffalo sends it to ottawa and then they send it back. If this is true, this means in december when addresses disappear the file would have been sent to ottawa and when buffalo received it addresses came back...

I am really frustrated
I just past the 14 months and frankly on monday CIC updated my status to IN PROCESS
now hearing all these different experiences and of course suffering more.
I don't even wish such experience for my enemies.

I just signed on to ecas and my status is in process. I am not sure when it changed as i did not get a notification from the ecas tracker

Hope this means good news. I am not even going to get excited as I have been disappointed too many times already

As a general rule, it's probably best never to get excited by anything that happens on ECAS although, this seems like a change in a positive direction at least.

Saka, same thing here, I am Feb 11 applicant, I also see ecas says in process, though there is no line mentioning which day they started.
