Hi Guys,
Yesterday I met a former colleague.
She has also applied for the PR.

Her case was first in Buffalo and was then transferred to Seattle.
She told me that it was in Febuary, when the case was sent to Seattle.
And they got their PPR until mid June. Shocked

It probably looks like this, then I will get my PPR for Christmas.
Not bad, it's a nice Christmas present.  Grin

So we might get lucky and it goes faster now ...?

 @ hyph3n,

you asked  @ peterbilt, can I  also answer?

My file is also sent to Seattle.
I got an email from the Buffalo VO.
There I was informed that all documents were submitted to Seattle.

Hoooray for me....

Just got laid off today, after 3 years of working for the same employer and 15 months in process.

I am royally p*** off right now.  Angry Angry

Is there anything I can do ..besides going home to Austria ? (home country)

My file is currently in Seattle and from what I have seen they request job letters!

Damn .. i am kind a in same boat .. though i haven't been laid off yet but the situation of RIM isn't that good .. Sad .. I am not sure what is going to happen.

Try contacting PNP if they can give you support letter .. or what you can do is you can apply for jobs, dun tell them your status .. get the employment letter (after negotiation) and then apply for pr based on that letter.

Sorry to hear that...

If your work permit is still valid, you can still stay in Canada and apply for employment insurance. You can probably look for another job while waiting for your PR application. Sad to say, there's nothing that we can do but to wait. Most of us here have exceeded the processing times and we havent heard anything from them yet. I tried calling CIC call centre but to no avail/ This is just so frustrating. I emailed Ottawa CPP and waiting for my GCMS to get updates to my application, so hopefully I can hear from them within this week or next week.

Emailed CPP-Ottawa and they replied that my file was transferred to Seattle visa office. Sent Case Specific Enquiry but that will take 28 days before I get response from them. SIGH Huh

I send my files to Regina and its been 15+ months, except the status chanhed in process 12 months back. A mail to SINP returned that, "your file is in process and no addl docs are required at this time " Smiley

Any idea which month of applications are in process now? Again I am in the family stream category

There no one can  give  you advice.
You have done what is possible.
You can not do more.

And unfortunately, CIC responds not
I find that an impertinence

As there is, just wait, unfortunately... Roll Eyes

Your file is still within the processing period that is why Seattle VO is not replying back to your emails. Wait till you hit your 15 month period.
In my case, I havent had any clue which VO my file was transferred to, so I emailed CPP-Ottawa, but that was when after I exceeded normal processing period. Did you apply for GCMS notes? I applied a month ago and still waiting, probably, I'll get the info I need next week.

I think so too.
All under 15 months is normal for CIC.
For CIC, not for us  Grin

..... Did you apply for GCMS notes?
I wonder what's the point?
Why request the GCMS?
If you know where your case is, what could that help?

I read again and again that people request it.
I do not understand the sense?
Okay if you do not know where is your file.
But if you know everything is on the way, why ask?
