@ ihabkal, You are absolutely right What you have written, I can sign. This is really a shame. This sucks man, the same Fing thing happened to me, applied onlie couldn't attach documents they refused stating no documents, That was the problem with me. I have all the documents. I had scanned all, so I can attach them if they ask for it. At the end of the application, they only asked for three things. That was the invoice which I paid fee, passport copy and the Receipt of Medical Test
case of missing docs the officer shouls ask before refusal, but they never do. this is how they make their money, by taking the food from the mouths of our children. Yes, why they not ask? You write the reasons why you need an extension. And you scan the documents, they ask themselves. And then they reject the request.
I'll go to the border on Sunday. And then I'll apply for the WP. It takes everything together for 6 hours. And I wanted to avoid

@ haybu12, Today I got my rejection of the renewal of work permits. After waiting over 6 weeks, a rejection. Two reasons. No job offer and no LMO I had applied for my renewal online. At the end of the online application, they would have the required documents. They did not want a job offer and no LMO. They wanted Fee Receipt, Copy of Passport and Proof of Medical Exam So and now everything again from zero. And then maybe I have to pay the fee again If you are a Provincial nominee, you can request the PNP office to give you a support letter. A friend of mine recently got his pilot masters PNP and also got a support letter that asks CIC to give atleast 18 months open WP.

My TRV is about to expire in a couple of months. I was wondering if I send my application for TRV renewal to CPP-Ottawa, whether if that would trigger CPP-Ottawa to process my PR app faster? I am already past the 15 month mark. Any thoughts?

I know that. I have all the necessary documents. Also, the WP Support Letter. You have not read it correctly, what I had written. I have applied for an extension online. And there they have not asked for the documents. At the end of the online process, they tell you what documents you should attach. I have attached these documents, they have requested. And now I got the rejection. Because two important documents were missing.

Hi All
I have applied thru PNP Ontario in Feb 2011 and had medicals in Sept. IN Feb 2012 I received a letter that my file has been transferred to New York and contact us after 90 days if you do not receive any update. My application is done by firm hired by the ppl whome I work for. I have not received anything from NY consulate yet. Is anyone in or was in the same boat as me?

What is your ECAS Status and which date they started processing your case? Everyone is waiting at this point... It seems like Jan-March applicants all are waiting. You should try getting GCMS Notes to get more clarity!

I had the exact same situation as you do dude. I called them and they mentioned there is a question online asking if you are currently applying for Permanent Residence inside Canada? You should say "NO". if you answered "yes", there are only 3 documents taht need you to upload. if you answered "no", you will find 2 more documents which need you to upload. They are the job letter and the work permit. You are applying outside canada. I got the rejection too b/c of this. I drove to the border after and got my work permit renewed there. PAID $150 AGAIN

hi huys
I want to tell u guys some of my experiences for the whole immigration process. 1) nornally it takes around 3 months after file transfer for the visa office to look at ur file. so if u dont hear anything from VO after for around 2.5 months dont panic, 3 months is the normal time.
2) address disappearance is not always the sign that they processing ur file, and u may have to wait few months be fore u get any news. for some address disappreance works quickly and for some it does not mean anything.
3) for me the visa stamping status was really strange. all the cases that I have seen on the forums so far have thier status changed to Decision Made, once they stamp the passport with visa. but for me, it changed from IN PROCESS to DECISION MADE after a week I received my passport back with visa and COPR. so dont worry if ur status does not chnaged while ur passport is still at the visa office. during that time I contacted buffalo, they replied me syaing that ur documents have been printed and will sent to u soon.
4) I was a bit scared for the flag polling process for landing. I called cic they emailed the falg polling procedure. I went to the US border it all went okay came back to the Canadian border for landing. they took my all study and work permits,COPR, passport, driver liscence (for current address), and PNP nomination letter took ten min and then called me and have me sign cic copy of COPR at two locations. then stamped my copy of COPR and told me that it will take PR card 6-8 weeks to be mailed to my address.
5) if u have any mistakes on your COPR apart from your name, date of birth, citizenship then those mistakes will be corrected at the port of entry. otherwise u need to contact VO and they will teel u to sent your pp and COPR back for corrections. the best thing is that u must contact VO if u have any mistakes on visa and COPR and they will tell you what to do next.
I wish all people whose cases r in process all the best.
