When a file gets transferred to me it means that all the checks are done but the load is too much so the files are being transferred to different offices. I am reaching the 15 month mark at the end of this month, dont know how much longer this will take !!

So u r thinking ur background check is still in process ??

Yep... I just saw some December 2010 applicants getting PPR thats 17 months! On another thread saw Nov 2011 applicants getting PPR also that is 6 months!! I think It might be another few months before i hear anything  Sad

I feel they were backlogged that is why they are finishing up dec 10 applicants first and feb-march shud be next as most of em are not transferred.. Worst case scenario u will wait till 4th june buh aftr that its our time and u shud be able to dig out ur ppr from their Manager:)

Its 4.20 am here n I am already up n ready waiting for ppr.. Lol.. Argh I hate this stress:(

hi guys, I got email from detroit today  n they asked me to submit the passport....is this ppr?...but they gave me 2 address one in windsor here n another detroit......does it matter?

Ran, just for info for anyone else who got transferred to Detroit, were you asked to submit any other documents other than your passport? It might be helpful

It ws pretty fast eh!! Within 3 business days of transfer u got ppr:) good work
