I used Canada Post and sent my pp to Fort Erie. Then I included a prepaid return envelope with Canada Post's Xpresspost - National service. Some people have sent their passports directly to Buffalo instead of Fort Erie though so its up to u |

Hello friends, I am also an April applicant, and had meds done in Dec 2011. e-cas says Application received and "Medical Results have been received". Guess I am in a similar boat as many of you.
Just wondering what exactly happens after they receive the medicals. Does it mean that my application is all complete and is simply awaiting review by a visa officer? Somehow, I feel the process isn't very transparent. Any guesses as to how long it "actually" takes them to process an application?

Sent a case specific inquiry to Buffalo and got the following reply:
"Your application is in process. We are unable to provide a date when the processing of your application will be complete."
I had ordered GCMS notes a month back and they showed that Criminality check: In Progress
The criminality check has been started since Sep 1, 2011. Any idea how long does it usually take?
