Hi All,

I have sent my passport to Fort Erie on May 7th, delivery was successful on May 10th,
RPRF fee cashed on May 17th (by calling bank) and status changed to "Decision Made" on May 22nd.

Since then I was trying to track my return envelop which is Canada xPress post (national), but shows Unable to find.

Is it normal?

Any thought or input will be appreciated.

Hello everyone,

I am new to the forum, and you guys seem to be very well informed of what is going on with this PR process.

I am still a bit lost in all of this.

I am currently in Quebec, I am under a skilled worker visa here, and well, working.

I submitted my PR application last year, according to their website it was received on March 2nd, 2011 and I received an "Acknowledgement of Receipt" by the Buffalo office at the end of October of 2011, which also asked me for the medical tests, which I sent them the same week I received the notice.

A couple of months after on their website it showed "Medical results have been received".

And three weeks ago my status changed to "In Process" - "We started processing your application".

According to their own deadline, it should take 15 months for the entire process, meaning they would have a couple of days left to process the entire thing, or am I mistaken on that?

I am just wondering what this all means, and what is really going on with the entire process.

Does any one know if after this it's going to take much longer, or is this the final run?

Thank you everyone for reading and for any advice!

Desision made is great news, my passports were recieved by Detroit May 24th so cant advise. But from the forums average is 3 weeks from when they recieve the passports. As it takes 3 days for  expresspost to deliver back to you, it must take a week or so for them to post them , i would think you will be partying by weekend June 9th. If do dont hear by then send them an email.

The IN PROCESS mystery has been solved and yeah NO PPR!!

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/manuals/bulletins/2012/ob425.asp

The in process files will be transferred to Ottawa !!! We know that will happen, dont know when and then dont know how furthermore we have to wait. This was not the typical IN PROCESS where you were about to get PPR. No wonder all of a sudden all march applicants started getting in process.

March applicants did have bad luck, we were part of the initial group of ottawa but unlike applicants after september who got ppr in 4-5 months, our files werent touched for a while. With Buffalo closing we are being transferred and will have to wait furthermore...

and the wait continues...

The article I posted last week about Buffalo closing did state that it would be closing sometime this week.

All applications will be transferred to NY consulate as the article said.
