Oh okay...if they werent ready for your ppt they shouldnt have sent ppr. Sorry. I heard Seattle is even worst than Buffalo.. |

Guys be optimistic...u will get something in April for sure!
It was 12 months processing time when we applied...and both me and sicilan got in almost 12 months. Infact today would make it exactly 12 months since I filed.
you say that how ever many of us have been waiting well over 14 moths. march 30th will be exactly 15 months for me. |

Just want to update you with the timeline for my PR application. Application recieved in Bufflo Mar 2011. Medical Exam result recieved in Oct 2011. File got transfer to LA office in Febn 2012. Recieved letter saying that PR application is completed on Mar 21, 2012. It takes me exactly 12 months and 1 week for my application to be completed. I think all of you guys should be hearing the good news soon~!!  |

However, they didn't update anything on the CIC website for my application status. It still remained as medical exam recieved and then nothing else. |

Let'e me put more details here, however I didn't keep a record of some of the dates, I can only tell you the month :
I sent all my PR application along with my the finger prints / criminal record check and the PNP confirmation in Feb 2011.
They recieved my application on Mar 14, 2011.
Recieved the letter saying that I need medical check early Sept 2011. (Got that done in three weeks)
Medical check recieved by CIC late Oct 2011.
Didn't hear anything between Nov 2011 to Jan 2012.
Got an email saying that my file got transfer to LA on Feb 9, 2012.
Didn't hear anything for another one month and a half.
Just got the confirmation saying my PR application in completed on Mar 21, 2012; and they require me to send the passport to LA office within 60 days.
I don't know if that would make any different on the processing time as my post-grad working visa is expiring in June 2012.
I was so close to spend another $150 to extend my work visa last week. Is good that I haven't got everything ready last week. Otherwise, I would have wasted $150.
