ok these date updates made me really worried
because
I received my AOR in july with the medical which I got done quickly. the status on my ecase changed to med results received but since then nothing. absolutely nothing.

I have been told by **spam** that applicants from Pakistan and certain "other" countries go through additional security checks. Is that true?
My application was filed on March 3, 2011 and my eCAS still shows "Application Received". It never changed to "In Process" even though I did my medical exam on September 12, 2011.

Some certain nationals may go through extra security checks and hence cause delay. My university lists those countries whose nationals may experience delay in their TRV processing. Though this is a list for TRV, it still can impact PR applications (I guess). See down below of the page: http://www.uwindsor.ca/isc/trv (Please, no offence to any national). I got GCMS notes yesterday.. my address dissappeared on 27 JAN 2012 with mass dissappearance ...in my GCMS notes it shows any update on my file on FEB 04,2012 that RPRf fees required ........I can assume my file is on safe side but Criminality check still shows "In Progress"
lets see
My one friend got email from Buffalo yesterday , that his initial assesment is done , no interview reqd and he already paid his RPRf ----however he didnt contact embassy for last 2 months ---
He applied JAn 18 ,2011 ..PNP ontario ...... hopefully he get his PPR soon in a week

Yes. Do not request the status of your file within ninety (90) days of the date of this letter". I fully intend to ignore this piece of advice if I don't hear anything from them within the next 2-3 weeks, cause i might get email that my file is transferred some where.. Detroit.. they might ask you for documents. Usually I have seen applicants who got transferred to Detroit, reference letter from employer, TF NOA being asked for. Might want to prepare ahead of time. If you are intending to contact them before 90 days, I do not think thats a wise idea.
