Application Received ECAS status

I just have few questions...I hope you guys can help me figure out what to do... Well, my boyfriend's application as my Conjugal partner has been approved by the Canadian Immigration last January 2011. The Manila Visa Office already requested his passport last february 2011 and he sent it right away.. The Ecas status has not changed since January 2011, it still says APPLICATION RECEIVED. When you open it, you'll see the message saying "We received Craig John's application for permanent residence on January 18, 2011." Isn't it supposed to say "IN PROCESS" since we have sent his passport already? Does the "Application Received" status mean they are processing it? His medical will expire July 2011.. THANK YOU in advance

Each visa office does its own thing, for example in ND India most people stay in the app received status and it changes to decision made.
There is no update for a passport request and confirmation in ecas.

fprince, thank you for your reply. I just don't want to have a conflict regarding his medical expiration date that's why I'm worried. Thanks again!

Same tayo ng status..  "Application Received" din yung status na nakikita ko sa ECAS since March 29, 2011.  Pag click ng application received nadagdagan lang ng medical results have been received. Mga June lumabas ito...  Nawala rin yung mailing address sa upper corner pag bukas ng application using my immigration file number.

Sabi nila.. pag nawala daw yung address is malapit na pero im not sure. In my case, the last postal mail we received is the request for RPRF which is late naming binayaran nung June 12 at June 15 na received ng CPC-M yung payment receipt.  Until today wala pa rin kaming na re-received na payment confirmation from CPC-M..

Sa mga nabasa ko... may mga cases na hindi na dumadaan sa IN PROCESS yung application... DM agad after application received... Sana ganito yung maging case natin.

Anu yung timeline nyo po? Gaano katagal yung waiting time nyo bago kayo na DM?
