Hi,
My ecas status is now Application received by VO and I have also received my 2nd AOR. I want to know how much time will the new delhi office take to open my file. My consultant tell me they are taking 8 months to start processing
Anyone pls tell me how much time are they going to take ?

It is the maximum time but ND Visa office is quite fast, you will receive medicals/ request for more documents/ clarification within 2-4 months.

thanks explorer101..you have always been a great help for everyone here
I am a bit nervous, my wife is pregnant, her due date is Jan 20, and she will be going on maternity leave next month...if verification calls goes to her office while on leave it is going to be a big problem as her boss who has given the reference letter is always out of town and cant trust the other people, even though she has given the mobile number of her boss, but I have come to know that visa officer never calls on cell phone numbers, only landline numbers given on the letterheads.
