Nope. Not at all. I saw they keep putting people into In Process, but no one seems to get PPR...

Yes. I think having In Process has little or no meaning these days.

Mine for more than 4 months!!!

Why do not you contact Ottawa office?
What did they say?

in my case, when I have my file number, I saw the following,

Applications for permanent residence in Canada in the category that you have applied have a processing standard of 10 months. If you have not received any instructions from this office by 120 days from the date of this letter, you are requested to contact this office directly.

Question here: they told me the standard processing time is 10 months, I have already 9 and half, will I have my ppr next month?

I have already here for 9 and half month, and almost 100 days from this letter, I will contact ottawa office at the beginning of next month.

My e cas shows:

We received your application in Nov, 2011
We started processing your application in May, 2012
Medical results have been received.

I will do the same after I am back next month. But I think with Buffalo office closed, processing time at CPP will increase due to the influx of applications. I will be glad if I get to land by the end of the year.

Another Nov 2011 applicant received PPR from Ottawa to send passport to Detroit... Seems like things are rolling again after a long pause.  Smiley

this email notifying about 10 months processing time is random. My friend applied in same category (QSW) and got this in AOR. He applied couple of months after me but both of us got the AOR from CPP-Ottawa,

I think its just the standard CPP-Ottawa template which was updated somewhere near end of last year. otherwise the processing time is indeed 15 months in total.

Really? That's good to know. Do you know this person? I haven't seen anybody on this forum got PPR since July.

It almost seems CIC is clearing the backlog from the first quarter of 2011. I saw only one applicant from NOV2011 to get PPR.
