Hello everyone. I know chances are less but I am trying to track down peoples experience in applying to Buffalo near December 1, 2011! My file hasn't still been transferred. I am a little concerned as my Draft hasn't been en-cashed as well. If anyone has had their file transferred from Buffalo to CIO - Sydney, NS because of the change in rules please post your experience here.
Thank you.

I sent my package to buffalo on Nov 29th, 2011; and was signed by someone on next day, the last day of new policy does not affect!!
I contacted BC PNP office regarding this issue, they told me it should be fine, but they told me that let me give 5-8 months to CIC for the initial response!!!!!
My bank draft was cashed on Jan 25th, 2012. But have not any response from CIC office yet.. E status does not work...
anything from you ?

I sent my application in early November and I am now able to access e-cas and it says "We received your application for permanent residence on November 14, 2011.". My draft was cashed on January 11th.
It seems that late October/November applicants have been caught in a bit of a hole due to both the holidays and the new policy regarding PR applications. I am fairly confident that our group should begin receiving AOR very soon.

if you responded timely and appropriately, it should be ok, and your check will be cashed soon. just wait.

You can check E-cas by inputting your client ID number.

I just wanted to update everyone in this thread that I got my AOR on February 28th from CPP-Ottawa. I think the rest of November applicants can expect AORs soon!
Also, I was able to access e-cas for about two weeks before I got an AOR by using my Client ID number as Bull said.

Good Day guys:
I applied for PR under New Brunswick PNP. I received a letter from New Brunswick PNP office issued on 14th Nov 2011 that my nomination has been accepted and file has been forwarded to Buffalo visa office. I haven't hear anything since then from Buffalo. Also, I tried to check my application status using client ID, but it does not work. Did anyone apply around 20 November 2011 as I think that's when my file reached Buffalo.
Did you include '-' in your client ID when you check your application status online.
Thanks.

Hi Kunal,
Are you able to access e-cas by using your client ID?
Thanks,

Hi newbrunswicker,
I was able to access e-cas about a week or two before I got my AOR, but I am not sure this is typical. I was also using my client ID with the - included.

I had received an email from buffalo on January 17, 2012. They had asked me to justify gaps. I did send an email back. My bank draft was cashed on Feb 21, 2012. I received my AOR form buffalo yesterday.
But I cant access my account on Ecas.
