Application process takes a long time!

Is it just me, or does 15-18 months seem like a long time to wait for the citizenship application to be reviewed and processed?  What is it like for other countries?

It is not only you mi friend, I think more than 90% of people applying for a permanent residence have to wait, wait and wait

I have been through this since the last 23 Months and still in process I was told to expect 12-24 months

So, it's even worse than I thought! Wow!  Some countries are probably even longer, then.

yes they are my friend... it is... up to 60 Months and sometimes more than that, so some of us are in a glory with only 20 to 30 months of waiting comparing among others.

I applied back in november 2004, they only told me that I needed to attend an interview in Buffalo.  That was a year ago wednesday.  I'm still waiting for that interview and still nothing.  Who knows how long else I have to wait if nothing has really happened with my case.

i applied to Ghana from Nigeria in august 2003 and was told it will take 24 months (2 years), its almost 4 years going and no news yet
