Now i have seen in many topics alot of people are waiting years for there pr yet the visa offices do give you an average time now they say you should contact them when it exceeds the average time my question is how can someone wait soo many years when there is an average process and they encourage you to contact the visa office if its over yet its them taking there time and yes everyone situation is different
post your pr stories that are over one year or still in process after 2 years

We've been in process for four years - we've been stuck in background checks for 3.

Passport Req..: 12th july 2011 and submitted on 26th july
VISA ISSUED...: 4th oct 2011
LANDED..........: soon.....

same is going wid me too.our family class sponsor has started on 17th march 2009 but still waiting for visa though ts already more than two years but i have my sent my medical and passport already and waiting for visa....
