Hi,

I would like to know how the Canadian High Commission will process applications in the 38 high-demand occupation list, submitted before February 27, 2008.

I'm a Computer and Information Systems Manager (NOC# 0213) and my AOR is dated August 15, 2006. I filed my application from the New Delhi office.

Will CHC fast-track my application along with the new applications filed under the 38 high-demand list?

Will CHC process my application along with all the NON 38 high-demand list and therefore take another 4 years to give a decision?

I would think there's no change on the way they will process your application even though your job is part of the 38 high-demand occupation. The new immigration law only applies for those who submitted their application after Feb. 27, 2008.

They will not fast track applications sent in before february 28 2008.  If your job in on the list of 38, you might want to consider withdrawing your application and applying again.
