Hi All,

I need quick help from you guys. I submitted the application in August 2008 and everything went fine but due to my mistake I didn't submitted my spouse Schedule 1. On Sept 26, I received a letter from CIC saying,

A Complete set of updated application forms including IMM0008 Generic Form, Schedule 1 and 3 + additional family information form for spouse only. Simplified version will not be accepted.

Question is generic form and Schedule 3 has nothing to do with non principal applicant, what should I do.

Thanks

I assume its mean, Update " Schedule 1 and 3 + additional family information" for you ( Principal Applicant ) and " additional family information" for your spouse too. Is that clear ?

Little more clarification required.

What does it mean simplified version is not accepted? I assume these are all the same forms which are available on the following link:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/skilled.asp

Thanks and appreciated.

Thanks for the quick response. I received the provisional acceptance from CIC on Sept 26th where it says that, " A Complete set of updated application forms including IMM0008 Generic Form, Schedule 1 and 3 + additional family information form for spouse only. Simplified version will not be accepted"

As people guided me above in the thread, I need to know what does simplified version means. As i do understand that it is the same forms which are available on
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/skilled.asp

then why CIC says that simplified version is not accepted. I don't want to make another mistake please guide.

Thanks

Hi Fmahmud,

I am in the same boat with you. I sent my application to Sydney on 1st Sep 2009 and didn't send my wife's forms separately. Thanks for your information, and I will send an updated version for my wife to Sydney.

Thanks

In my opinion, in the past the simplified version is different with the current version of the form

2. Additional family

Are those all?

No Problem Mate. I need little clarification that what does "simplified version is not acceptable" means....

If you applied before December 01, 2008, then you would have used Simplified Application Form which is different from full application package. Now you need to send full application package

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/skilled.asp

What is Simplified Application?
Under this process, you submit only a basic application form and fee. This guarantees your place in the processing queue, meaning that the regulations in effect on that date will apply to your application. When the visa office is ready to assess your application, you will be asked to send the required supporting documentation
