Hi,

my Application for Proof of Citizenship and Search of Records was Received by CIC in November 2009 (Sent Via the Berlin Office). I Applied for Proof of Citizenship for me based on my Father beeing Canadian Citizen.

According to their online Tracking System the Status Changed to In Process in February 2010 and has been changed to "COMPLETE" recently (September 2010).

Anyone has experience with that Kind of Application and can tell me what "COMPLETE" means. Can I assume my Proof of Citizenship has been approved positively?

And how much more do I have to wait till I receive my Certificate?

Thanks!

When you click on the link where it says "complete" it should give you more info.

Most likely they mailed you the citizenship certificate.

Thanks for the Reply.

Of course I had clicked on the "COMPLETE" Link.

Problem is that the Description didn't change since the Status was "IN Process".

I had hoped to see some kind of description of what they mean with "COMPLETE".

I hope they mean what you nsay and have sent me my Certificate.
