Application Cancelation

Hello guys, I have couple questions. I would really appreciate if someone could throw some light on the same.

1. Its 50 days now since I got my AoR. I haven't submitted my complete application to the visa office yet. If I cancel my application now, will they refund the fee that I paid to the CIO? If so, how long does it take to refund to the credit card?

2. From the time of sending the cancellation request by fax, how long does it take to get the cancellation confirmation from the visa office (do we get a confirmation before we reapply to CIO)?

Anybody who experienced the cancellation after AoR or anyone who knows this for sure, please help.

Yes you get the redfund before your application is in process at local CHC, it takes about 10 weeks

I am not sure about how much time it takes for confirmation from CHC. I would guess may be a day or two but again I don't know for sure

1. Yes you will be entitled for the refund. It may take 3 - 6 months
2. They will confirm you via email or letter that we have received your request to withdraw you application.
