Hi,

We applied for canada immigration through federal skilled, application was received on July28th, 2011, but we did not get any letter confirming they got it, We checked with the status of the cashier's check, it has not been processed yet. We applied from US under 2121.
Is it early to expect a response? or does it mean they did not approve? Are they going to send the cashier's check back if they dont approve? how we are going to get back the money in case they reject it?

thanks.

Do Not Worry the CIC is working on a backlog of about 6-9 weeks so your cashiers check should get encashed by 15-20 Sep. and you should get the PER by the end of Oct, remember people have received their PER even after more than 120 days (4 months approx.) last year, so be patient.
