well, are you preparing for mccee. what about doc opportunites there, is it canadian soil is fertile enough for doc.
i am also a doc. working as gazatted doc in punjab rual area.

actually im in NOC 3111. i took exp cert frm HR deptt. which showed only my salary and the no. of years i had worked.to show my job responsiblities i took reference letters frm my senior colleagues in which i had added the duties of a consultant acc to the cic website. my prev exp as noc 3112 was shown as experience cert by the employers. job duties were not mentioned on those, only the time period was mentioned. it was difficult to take that exp cert again. so i dint bother much. i only showed current exp as specialist. my advise to u is make the reference letters acc to the duties mentioned in the NOC list on the website. if ur employer gives it to u in writing its ok. otherwise take reference letters frm colleagues working with u mentioning ur job duties acc to site. on these letters their phone no.s , email, designation, etc shud b there and preferably on their official letter head.

well, are you preparing for mccee. what about doc opportunites there, is it canadian soil is fertile enough for doc.
i am also a doc. working as gazatted doc in punjab rual area.

salaam drwaamin im a specialist. i am starting preparation for mccee. well i don ve choice. its almost impossible without it. i may get research fellowship which i don want to do. i want to do clinical work. i ve heard it a bit easier to clear exams these days. earlier it was really tough. scene for docs is improving. these r jus rumours. i don know the ground reality. i also need guidance for mccee. wat do u study for it? any specific books? or site/ forum where we can get more info for foreign medical graduates in canada ? |

i also applied under noc 3112,
application sent to NS on june 23rd
received letter from NS on 18th aug. with 120days time period
now sent all documents along with police clearence and bank statement...
now i think they will send an acknowledgment letter... lets c wats next

u will be getting an e mail frm NS immi office. as per my knowledge the countdown of 120 days starts when u get the e mail frm NS, the date on the e mail. the mail itself is AOR. |

Ihave sent my full application on 1st november, I am planning to appear in MCCEE in january. what i have researched is that most of the people are reading "toronto notes", it is not a very attractive book but if u want to go to canada and to clinical work u have to do it. My speciality is peds, what is yous and what is your Visa office.

one of my frd received via post and i received email from NS, and mostly they send email....tat is initial assisment
AOR or u can say acknowledgment which local visa office may give u when u submits all documents along with visa specific form... a frd of mine received AOR on oct'2009 from the CHC islamabad, another frd is waiting and i submited my documents on 2nd Nov'2009

hi doc im a psychiatrist n my visa off is delhi. will kaplan notes for mle step II will do? i ve also sent my full documents on 5th nov. i think i shud better start preparing for mccee. how much time does it take to apply n take the date? i mean the procedure.. |
