Hi Everyone,

This thread is for those applicants who have decided to land/settle in Toronto once the long awaited visas get stamped Smiley

This forum is for us to share ideas/opinions/information about various topics starting from short stay accommodation, housing, affordable localities, schools, job prospects, shopping, recreation etc. to make the transition smooth for us...  Cool

Am sure all of us would be trying to gather as much information as possible b4 we leave our home country....it would be gr8 if we could share it with other aspirants too....

I hope everyone gives & gains something useful from here !!!

Thanks & Regards,

There is an area known as "Little India" located on Gerrard Street between Coxwell and Greenwood.

They have many authentic clothing, jewellery, restaurants and food stores.

Ten Reasons Small Spaces Are Better Than Big Ones

As we sat in our lovely little 250 s/f nest last night, we started to think about how great small spaces were and what they had over big ones. All of a sudden a list started forming...

1.   Everything is at your fingertips.
2.   Theyre cozier.
3.   They clean up faster.
4.   They allow you to live with less of everything - simplicity & economy.
5.   A small space allows you to experiment more with different design ideas.
6.   They get you outside more.
7.   They put you more in touch with your neighbors/community.
8.   They are cheaper. They put more money back into your life.
9.   Small spaces require more imagination (large spaces are for those with no imagination).
10.   Small spaces create momentum. They force one to make decisions, at home as well as in life

Positive Attitude Cheesy

By the way, in Missisauga are placed most of the Headoffices of big companies. If I will find a job in one of them, I think we will be living in this region. Someone else plan to go there?
