Hello,

Is it must for main applicant to attach his/her photo in Imm0008 Generic ? OR is it optional ?

No photo for sydney.

Yes for visa office. i didn't attach it. I put it inside an envelope. Don't know what is the right thing to do here.

Please don't expect me to answer if your post title has urgent in it and it is not really urgent. Urgent is 911 or you have a definite deadline tomorrow, not that you would like to send in the application soon

Depends on Visa-office specific instructions.  For Buffalo:

"Federal Skilled Worker Applications Submitted to Buffalo

Place immigration photos in an envelope and staple the envelope to the second page of the application being careful not to put a staple through the photos."
