Hi Qorax!

Firstly, I just want to inquire from you regarding ECAS status. It shows Medical Results received already. Does that mean to say that VO is already satisfied with the medical results and there's no need for furtherance?  I'm just curious if ever there are folks out there who got this line in their ECAS status, yet were ask for a re-test.

Hi,

It suggests that ur meds have been 'seconded' & 'approved'. Typically it also means that ur security checks r complete -- and u should be getting ur PPR anytime.

here is my timeline:

Application received on CIO: 28/03/2011
Transferred to Damascus: 21/04/2011
Transferred to Warsaw: 17/07/2011
In process: 01/09/2011
Medical: 22/12/2011
RPRF: 15/02/2012 (sent without request)

Current status in Ecas: Medical received .....

I sent an email to Warsaw a month ago regard to my application status. they confirmed receipt of my medical and RPRF and mentioned that my application is under background check. Based on my application it's been almost 5 months that my application is under background check. Since its been a month after my last communication with them, do you suggest me to send another email again and request if my application has any progress?

I need PP ASAP as my plan is to land in September if possible. if you agree with asking again, could you please give a letter template or they way I should ask about my status.

Hello  Qorax  Thx for your suggestion ...... according to your time lines it passed away 4 months .... can i expect now medical or is there any other news for medicals.(that we have to more wait) we are mid in sea coz we want to plan our family....... we need ur suggestion what we have to do right now ....................... plz reply we are waiting for your suggestion to come out from tenssion........................thx reply soon

I'll have to say it....every minute now is very precious awaiting the PPR...hopefully, it will come knocking at my inbox anytime this week....
Second question Qorax....There's something fishy going on with my EcAS...address has disappeared this week. I know you don't want us mess up with the ECAS thing....but, don't you think it has a good feedback?

-2009 Apps filed: 3-yrs. wait queue.
-2010 Apps filed: 2-yrs. wait queue.
-2011 Apps filed: 1-yr. wait queue.

For all practical purposes this (2012) is the deciding yr. for most applicants!

Dear Qorax, today we received one blessing.

Yesterday we decided to visit our DMP again...for the nth time. We told him that he's the only one who could make things better on our case.
We brought all the correspondence our embassy, agent have sent us and let him read them from the start of the message thread.

He told us, he'll send email to the embassy.

This morning he called us and told, he didn't send any email but asked my husband he'll do his re-medical today, with no request letter, stamp, whatsoever.
It was very surprising but better enough to feel at-ease, maybe he felt pity on us 

So there, my husband did the medical again, same payment, no discount.....but here's the catch....the DMP won't send the results to our VO...we will be the one to send it via courier. Because according to him, as per instructions, he is advised to forward medical results only to CHC London.

But if you will notice our embassy's message to us:

Dear Mr. xxx:
 
Our email should be addressed to you and not your wife, Joy.  Please note that we already received the medical results for your spouse, xxx and your two dependent children.
 
Only your medical results have not been received.  You may ask the designated medical examiner (DME) to forward your medical results to our office once completed.

I Received Medical Request and RPRF and also asked for completed Immigrant Summary form.
Can you please explain me Immigrant Summary form, Is this the Background/Declaration form? I have already submitted it initially.

And do I have to fill it twice once for me as principal applicant and once for my spouse as a principal applicant and I will be the spouse.
I am really confused with this form please help me out.

It's Ok... send the meds urself now. It shouldn't be an issue. U may explain that in a cover letter though.
