Nope mate no calls to my employer regarding my employment...
Last update was that i got Aor from NDVO then nothing else....
Same in process status with the same we received your application....

Here is the answer for your question...

For the acquisition of permanent resident status$490
This fee is payable by principal applicants (with some exceptions) and accompanying spouses and common-law partners. It must be paid before the immigrant visa is issued overseas or before the applicant becomes a permanent resident in Canada.

The following applicants are not required to pay this fee:

dependent children of a principal applicant or sponsor, a child to be adopted, or an orphaned brother, sister, niece, nephew or grandchild; and
protected persons, including Convention refugees.

hey guys....my ecas status changed today.....

earlier it used to only show In process and inside nothin except the processing times for PR.

Today, a line is added inside "We received your application for permanent residence on March 12, 2012".

But I have not recd any AOR from NDVO...can u help guys what tis means

I think you have click on "in process" tab

actually when your file got transferred or nominated for process at your particular Visa Ossice, then your status shows  

as "We received your application for permanent residence on ####### 2012"

I think its reference to our Good mate Shibu who has got medical and has not submitted PCC (police clearance Certificate) with the application...

Guys i just surfed some threads here and people's have mentioned that their ecas got updated withe the following line....  "We started processing your application on...."

Has anyone got the same line added to their ecas or is that line under the old rule .. What about our guys shibu ramu and more..

you can use ppls name...that was jaggy who had mentioned the above statement actually jaggy was waiting for his
AOR and this might be indication of that he gonna get AOR shortly.

Secondly you have got AOR, so your status won't change, once you will get visa or rejection(sorry Just a clarification)
then it will changed to decision made...so don't worry and pray for good!! You will be landed to Canada b4 2013.
