Dear Nirmaan(and all others)no need to google.....If you look/download the Document checklist (IMM5612E.pdf) provided by CIC. Serial No.18 states as below:

"Note:Police certificates are generally considered to be valid for one year from date of issue; therefore depending on the processing time of your application, you may be requested to submit new certificates."

Also very Imp: after providing PCC,CIC will also do background checks in all the countries or territories in which you and your family members have lived. These checks will determine if you have had any arrests or convictions, or if you are a security risk to Canada.

The RPO provided Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) is issued on the basis of an unambiguously clear Police Verification Report received in respect of the passport held by the applicant. However, while applying for PCC if it is observed by the passport official that the police report received at the time of issue of the applicant's passport was ambiguous but not adverse, the applicant may be asked to approach the concerned Police authority under whose jurisdiction his/her residence falls and obtain a Local Police Certificate on the basis of which, on a case to case basis, issue of PCC may be considered by the RPO. In this case, the applicant will be asked to submit three sets of completed Application Form.

hi friends....

how do you track rprf has been cashed or not for standard chartered bank kolkata dd.... I found someone just calling bank and they told his/her rprf has been cashed...

in my case..I personally visited my bank but they can't give me info instantly..they said they need to mail someone...i don't know whom and what they are talking about.

GUIDE ME: CAN I CALL STANDARD CHARTERED BANK KOLKATA FROM NEPAL TO TRACK THE RPRF STATUS..IF IT IS POSSIBLE..WHAT INFO DO I NEED?
