Make some sense now for me...thanks a lot for your explanation on this topic as well as on security info!!
Ru still busy with work?

Rabb Rakha
Babbu

bro pata nahi chala toh aap mujhse explanation toh maang sakte the naa? Cheesy

I haven't seen anyone post it on forum so shared it

Below is my explanation of the following:
"The result of the last medical assessment is entered in Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) electronic platforms (such as the Global Case Management System (GCMS) or Field Operations Support System (FOSS) as an ‘M' profile indicating that an applicant is either admissible or inadmissible on health grounds. A medical certificate is an ‘M' profile indicating that an applicant underwent a medical examination within the previous 12 months and is not inadmissible on health grounds.

When the final decision of an officer is pending due only to the expiration of a medical certificate or when the validity of the medical certificate is about to expire and the applicant is unable to land before it expires, the officer will issue new medical certificate valid for 12 months.

This can be done by emailing RMO(regional medical office). We need to mention the below in the email:

◦Entitle your e-mail ‘Reassessment of an applicant's medical file for the issuance of a new medical certificate';
◦Provide the applicant's name, ID number, date of birth, date of initial IME(immigration medical examination), and country of residence for the last 6 months."

I hope this solves some of ur doubts Smiley

you can attached the copy of FD and six month statements provided by ICICI bank, also request for a bank certificate form your bank where they have to provide all information about your Saving and fixed deposit( SBI and HDFC provide this letters on customer's request). Also tell them to mention the total amounts in CAD in an additional line  @ current forex rate!!

If they will deny to provide the above mentioned bank docs on your request, better move to SBI or HDFC...these ppl are much better, as a proof of old fund you can write a letter where u can mention that I have moved my bank to new (use ICICI statements as a old proof of funds).

I hope that may be helpful...don't take risk coz of your bank

Rabb Rakha
Babbu

If you are the only account holder of the savings account and FD, there is really no problem.

I hope that ICICI bank mentions the total balance of FD and savings account in the Bank Certification Letter.

Send a photocopy of the FD as well.

Also if u want a query to be answered by me......plz post it here and also read the posts that I write on this thread.

All the best to u Smiley

Dear Jaggy,
I hope you are OK.... I do agree with you ...that's what we understood from CIC  website and  the operational bulletin ...but that what happened to 3 applicants from LVO... you can check LVO applicants thread..two applicants got refusal letters their names are omee, meem, and a third applicant his/her name is PA5510N who got refusal letter and send reconsideration letter to LVO and got confirmation from LVO that an error made in the calculation of points for his education. and  therefore LVO prepared to reconsider his/her application.
this indicates the IO in (at least in LVO) are conducting their own determination of eligibility and based on this they are sending rejection letters to applicants without requesting additional documents or call for an interview!. And this undermines the thought that we all got that when 2nd line appears, it means BGC is completed. my dear brother Jaggy, this is my understanding.....please share your thoughts.

here are the links
1. Omee    http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/lvo-applicants-july-01-2011-fsw-applicantsmi-3-t101621.2130.html
2. meem    http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/-t101621.0.html;msg1556034#msg1556034
3. PA5510N  http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/lvo-applicants-july-01-2011-fsw-applicantsmi-3/-t108412.0.html;msg1548377#msg1548377
Best wishes,

I can't see any of these 3 applicants rejected on basis of job duties or any major reason.

For Pa5510N: It was a clear case of point miscalculation, LVO has agreed that it was a mistake on their end.
For Omee    : It was clearly his mistake. He has not provided adequate docs of his spouse education as well as proof of relationship. Just providing citizenship card and birth certificate is not enough to gain 5 points under adaptability. Don't blame LVO on this.
For Meem    : let the letter sent by LVO come to him......we can then argue if the reason for refusal was correct or not.

In MI2 and 3, they do calculate ur points again and see if the docs u sent do support ur claims. I guess this is the first thing they do while processing ur appln.

But from what I have read in OB, missions would not reject ur case on basis of job duties mismatch Smiley

Thanks Jaggy for Security Info... ??

When will get our MR ?

What do you say yaar Huh

Have patience bro......its definitely taking time if u consider other MI3 applicants on this thread.......but to be fair to NDVO and other VOs, they are well within the timeframe. More waiting for applicants from other VO's than NDVO.

Im doing some amount of guesswork, but I do think we need to be ready and wait till July end to hear something about our appln.

Bro u have any query on security info coz there is ?? at the end of ur sentence  Wink

Posting it again for everyone of you to go thru, plz take a brief glance at it

Excerpts from CIC website on security concerns:

Mr. Geoffrey Leckey:
"The first and most important screening tool, of course, is the application form. We have to start with what the applicant tells us about himself. If that hits against certain security screening indicators of concern, then we have the option of asking CIC to go back to the applicant and conduct an interview or request more detailed information from the applicant.
Once that information is as complete as it can be, then the information is shared with our Government of Canada security partners. They may hold information on the individual; we may hold information ourselves. Depending upon what trail we come across in the databases, it may lead us to other government departments or to foreign governments who may hold information on an individual.

In the CBSA national security screening division there are approximately 60 employees. Within the last year we have moved to what we call a tiered service standard to ensure that the speed with which we process applications is in line with the priorities of the Government of Canada. So we've moved to a service standard of a turnaround time of 48 hours in the case of urgent and VIP processing, 5 days in the case of China. In tier 1 countries, which are Russia, India, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Mexico, and Haiti, our service standard is 10 days, and for all other countries in the world it is 20 days. The security assessment part of the visa processing continuum does not take more than 20 days. In fact, I checked just recently and we're averaging for those other countries about 18 days."

"The RCMP is a service provider to CIC for security screening and immigration applicants across the spectrum of immigration streams. The RCMP Canadian Criminal Real Time Identification Services provides security screening in support of permanent resident, citizenship, and refugee immigration programs. Applicants are checked to see if they have a criminal record in Canada that renders them inadmissible under the provisions of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act.

There are two kinds of screening activities undertaken by the Canadian Criminal Real Time Identification Services. One is name-based checks, where applicants' name and date of birth are compared against the Canadian criminal name index to see if they have a criminal record. The second is fingerprint analysis. In support of the name-based checks, the Canadian Criminal Real Time Identification Services also conducts fingerprint-based criminal record searches. If, after a name-based check is completed, there is a possible match to a criminal record, the individual making the application is required to submit fingerprints. The fingerprints are compared with those associated with the criminal conviction to confirm or verify the identity of the individual making application for permanent residency or citizenship.

In the fiscal year 2010–11, over 24,000 fingerprint submissions were processed in support of permanent residency applications. Of these submissions, approximately 24% hit a fingerprint record. In fiscal year 2010–11, over 19,000 fingerprint submissions were processed in support of Canadian citizenship. Of these, approximately 31% hit a fingerprint record. A hit occurs when the fingerprint or name-based check matches an existing record."

Just hang in there babbubhai, ur MR is taking time as you have travel history and dependants in ur appln. It can delay the processing time.

I hope motivates and give u positive vibes, if you wondering why the MR is taking long.

I have already discussed this earlier, applicants with travel history would take additional time to process.
