Dear nirmaan,
Information you have got for MI-3 applicants is absolutely right, Most of the ppl get their MR with in a week from status update... I'm not-sure but either sairRam or seminole got his status updated to start processing and MR was sent to him by post next day from NDVO but unfortunately he got that 5 weeks later...coz he was based in Canada and got only 5 days to submit his Medical.. fortunately this will not be implement to an India based applicant!!

I'm bit worried for you (me too) coz as CIC have start processing for MI-1 and MI-2 applicants too, they may have change the process for issuing MR to MI-3 applicants (it is a prediction). But our experts "Rawlin, spartan, abhijeet, klmy and jaggy" had mentioned previously in their post that NDVO issue MR once BC is done (sorry if I forgot to put someone's name or had put someone's name by mistake). So BC has been done for you coz status always change to start processing when BC is done. You can call to CHC ND for more details..being a individual applicant U have done good by sending  CSE,fax or email...now pray for good and wait for CHC response

I think MI 1 and MI 2 processing has been coupled with MI 3, so delays can be expected as processing and priorities tend to bottleneck. Also I believe there are many other factors like NOC and landing destination which may expedite or delay applications. We are seeing some random timelines - one extreme has very quick processing and other extreme has delays. Not to forget the most important security and background check factor!

Since time is a constrain for me, let me take this opportunity to address a posters query about applying independently or applying with help of a immigration consultant -- An immigration expert cannot guarantee the success of your file, they only increase the chance of success because they know what the Visa officer likes to see thru best presentation. Also they are experts at immigration law. But all this comes with a price tag. So one pays a price for that service.

dear engineer, you can attempt for IELTS as many time u want..there is no restrictions !!

you can apply under arrange of employment offer... If you have an employer who can provide you job offer and your education,experience comes under any shortlist NOC  and u have scored 67+ points, then u can apply in Juny 2012. Best of luck...for more details click on www.cic.gc.ca

If u have an valid LMO and your employer can give you a letter stating you job will continue after u get PR & u have 67 points you can apply right away
