B- we started procrssing on file dd/mm/yyyy
C- medical results have been received
D- decision made

What is going with my file? Well, given the situation...my guess is as good as yours
This is my history...what do you think? any advice?
1. Application filed > May 28, 2010
2. Confimation of receipt of Application package received > June 2, 2010
3. Received letter from Centralized Intake Office, Sydney(issuing an UCI# and an Application #) and asking me to send additional docs/final package > Oct 1, 2010
4. Confirmation of receipt of Application package(final) by NDVO > Jan 17, 2011
NDVO advised me(through snail mail) to send any communications('reminder' in this case) through my representative/agent(JET Immigration) as I had authorized the same > Sep 9, 2011
5. On my behalf, my agent (JET Immigration) sent a reminder to NDVO > Oct 10, 2011...but nothing changed/I heard
6. Status changed at ECAS: Your Application was recevied and we started processsing on May 29, 2012

AORs are meant to enhance proactive, timely and transparent communication with clients on the status of their application and give clients the ability to check application status.

They don't check anything to issue AOR......just create/update ur file no. in the system once recd from CIO. According to me, there is a automated protocol they follow and the system then automatically sends an AOR via GCMS.

While issuing an AOR, quite possible they may set an initial BF'D for ur file to be reviewed or processed. They may start BC once AOR is issued

Yes IO can issue MR without providing AOR....

Take the case of Abhay175, though he has not recd MR but VO has started processing his appln

Provide them Indian home address come ASAP with your passport and forward them and they will send the stamped one to the indian mailing address,
