In case of DMP; you must be having new passport & new passport is having OLD passport number...

VO don't verify the Passports; if they have any concerns then they will ask you to reissue the passport.

I have renewed my passport too & haven't submitted yet & my old passport was expiring in Nov; so I renewed it... Now; I think that once they send PP request then I will be sending the OLD & NEW passports together...

Rest please correct me if I am wrong...

Regards
Rawlin

sorry to correct u spatrtan300 bro, I think its better to update you passport with chc bcoz once they would issue MR to me, there was healthy chances of problem with DMP bcoz MR with old PP can arise question as my old PP is blocked and Moreover if VO cross check with Passport services,he won't be able to get my passport details..so u need to add another line in the list!!
I'm agreed with jaggy bro, how come it delay the process for adding a New copy of PP Huh May be I'm wrong
Seniors please leave your opinion..babbu bro help me

dear guys. I hv mailed ndvo asking them if some thing is expected from my side and no reply. It's been 92 days from pp, medical and rprf submission. When can I expect dm. What is left in my process. SC or BC? What is the max time of delay in my case.plz reply me captain. Thx in advance

hi chef prashi!

Nice to see you, well I dont have any specific answer for your questions, but I do know that history of travel can effect duration of checks. Like you I have been working on the cruise liner ( some weeks I visit 5 countries in 5 days  Smiley ) , my application is also pending, even after having a very strong application I know applicants who applied before me who got medicals and PPR. Maybe trips abroad has something to do with it OR maybe different visa officers handle things differently.

Its just a waiting game as your medicals are done, your almost there. Good luck....

Are you in Mumbai?

Jaggy bro...Say, if u have travel history and u have provided P.C.C of that country in your application. Still its a same story of makes a difference. what generally they look in travel history?

while providing travel history I mentioned the countries from where I took transit flight as well. However, I mentioned "TRANSIT".What would you think about all this?

I never applied for visitor visa of any country. I just been to NewZaland for studies then to Canada and provided P.C.C from Both .

I think CIC doesnt care too much about "Transit visas" because of the very short duration of time, its treated like a stopover. But yes when your a student or going on a business or visit visa for a considerable amount of time then CIC probably looks into that deeply.

even though u provide PCC for a country......they still conduct specific checks for ur application both in terms of security and criminality, just to be completely sure.

Sum applicants don't provide complete info wen they are involved in a minor crime or anything of that sort

They have contacts wid security agencies worldwide and hence it may take varying time if you travelled many countries and stayed there for more than 6 months....though they even check ur security if u have stayed sumwhere for less than 6 months(but don't ask PCC for that country)

Yes very true Jaggy, the CIC has been well versed with a high degree of fraud in India from applicants, from fake PCCs to fake everything. Its an ongoing problem. They have their own secret protocol to assess authenticity of a document or a person.
