do u have any travel history?if yes then it will depend on that.it may take 2-4mths now a days.
NDVO generaly combine BC & SC as per senior members.but may differ case2case.

dear members, I'm new here on these forum My name is laddy and I have 2 questions!!

I. I have requested to update my and wife's passport to NDVO coz now we both have endorse spouse name on our passport and My IELTS got my old PP number on it, shall that make any difference

2. Shall that delay our process?

laddy

1. Old PP number on IELTS should not make a diff
2. Requesting NDVO or any VO to update certain information can delay the process IMHO.

Jaggy bro...Say, if u have travel history and u have provided P.C.C of that country in your application. Still its a same story of makes a difference. what generally they look in travel history?

while providing travel history I mentioned the countries from where I took transit flight as well. However, I mentioned "TRANSIT".What would you think about all this?

I never applied for visitor visa of any country. I just been to NewZaland for studies then to Canada and provided P.C.C from Both .

You have to inform your VO asap,
only in case,
-Birth of a child
-Marriage or divorce
-Change of address
-Change of representative
-Request for withdrawal of application

For other case VO will forward you a request for your additional document,
Yes, i think it might delay your process,
wishes from my side for your smooth process,
Warm regards,

agreed with KLMY,

In my opinion those destination which has been stamped in your passport for your visit/stay you have to provide P.C.C .. They look generally in travel history whats the purpose of the stay and your type of visa and your criminal records in the country...
No need to worry,
Wishes from my side for your smooth process,

Hi Guys,

I am back from Hemkunt Sahib Yatra. We had more then 15 feet of snow on the way. But by God's grace weather was clear the day we reached the Gurudwara sahib and was able to take the Sarowar Bath. Today I saw my current address getting updated on my Ecas Status. I beleive some of the senior members also got this updated some time back. What is the Significance of this Indian address getting updated on the Ecas. Does this mean that the process is started. But the Status is still the same "We received your application dated....."

Best of luck to all of us for speedy processing.
