I received PER on 15/02/12 and 2nd AOR or 06th Mar
have any of you received your medicals who got 2nd AOR in this time frame?
pls share your status and any idea how long it takes normally?

PER means Positive Eligibility Report. When the CIC receives your application they will check as per point system if you satisfy the required scores and if they are saticfied. they send you an email with this info and also you File number.

Ecas means you status on the CIC website as per your Application file number. This is basically your status.

hi babbu.mann im not sure about the number of the NOC of my husband (principal applicant) but the title is retail trade supervisor with arranged employment...

ive heard in the other threads that PER to AOR would like about 4-6weeks tood bad until now buffalo didnt gave me any AOR yet.. they already have the limit for the applications but still they have a very huge back log..

Provisionally yes. But the visa officer may later reduce the points if he thinks that the evidence is insufficient. For example, if the job description does not correspond to the NOC, if family relationship not evident etc. So nothing is certain until passport is requested!

Ya, I wish I could have sent my application to New Delhi rather than Buffalo This is interesting though since I'm assuming New Delhi is getting a lot of PR applications as well every year, yet they are able to work much faster. I was hearing stories about people getting their PR from NDVO 7 - 8 months after they filled their application (under MI1). Incredible

yes but I also know a person who submitted his passport in June 2011 to ND and has not got it back yet! I'd rather wait for 5 years with my passport in my pocket, than be stuck without passport!

hi all..
i am fsw (under cook category) and i got my 2 aor from ndvo...my question is that i was living in australia for 4 years and than i came back to my country,i applied for pcc  and got it last yaer which is attached to my pr case, and than never travelled to oz after that..so just want to know that should i apply for new pcc as it is old for more than one year  or the same wud be valid bcoz i never travelled to australia,how much time is given by VO in case i have to submit a new one as it takes arount 2 months for AFP to give police clearence and finger prints

Hi Naaz,

The PCC is valid only for one year. But what I have read from old posts by seniors, IF processing starts and your PCC is expired they would ask for new one. But in your case as you have not travelled back to Australia, they would ask for only updated PCC for the country you are living in at present or any countries you have visited after submitting your application. In any case if they still request for OZ PCC apply for one only after they request & simultaneously send IO an email specific to your case explaining the delay in acquiring the same in 2 months time.
