and all members Just to give my experience that Its not too much of that problem of vitamin D thing in Toronto.
I have lived in toronto for last five years 2006-2011, I feel fit and i never had any problem, I go for checkup every three  months.
Now I am living in Calgary, i don't see any kind of problem here too.

It is possible if some people got that problem, Its just because may be their job is outside in summer or their diet is not proper or on required time.

So don't worry just take precautions and live a happy life when all come to canada.

Hi Abhay,
My application is filed by my company's lawyers and I harass them almost every alternate day since their email is listed on the application for updates....so far no update :-(.
Lets see how it goes since it will be 3 weeks this friday since my ecas status changed from A to B....
Wonder if two things are holding it all up....one is that I am FSW2 and the second is that I have a lot of travel history....

It will take 7-10 days to get a renew passport....this is a very personal experience...recently my cousin had endorse his wife name on passport and new passport was with him in 7-10** days.(** Address should be same as old passport)

Tell your friend to apply for a passport just to change the appearance/signature category coz if he would apply under damage category then he would have to penalty of 1500 INR + Fee and it will take more time and formality required would be more as well!!

trust me that is the best info, even passport ppl will not disclose it to you!!

It takes 30 days for renewal in damaged category as well. Rest it depends that how much damaged it is.

I mean do you need Police report or not; if not then you can get in 7 days as well; otherwise someone needs to apply under TATKAAL...

Hi rawlin,
its not actually in damaged start, only the photo lamination had come out along with photo on the cover sheet; but VO returned it to get new one.

I will suggest babbu's advice as it seems to be pretty fast to get back
