Never say I failed 99 times...!! Always say "I discovered 99 ways which causes Failure.."

Babbu Mann

I applied for NOC 7242 as well in Feb and I am waiting for Medical now.. I applied for same category in 2010 twice.. Both time my application was rejected, once for duties did not matched and second time I sent the application without IELTS score. Third time I applied with the duties posted on CIC web site and with IELTS score. So, It doesn't matter how many times you got failed to get PER, you can apply in same category until you get approval.

I believe kamal doesn't have much time...coz the capping will be open in July 2012. and he needs to sort out his

1. PCC (can take uptp 15 Days)
2. IELTS ( Can take 6-8 weeks to get result)
3. Experience Certificate (as per CIC standard...can take 2-4 weeks I think)
4. All paper work need to be attested by solicitor ( 1-2 weeks max)

So, this is my advise to kamal, to contact a Solicitor as soon as possible and sort out above mentioned documents if he is eligible.
Make sure that Solicitor give you a written assurance that your case won't be rejected becoz of Apprenticeship issue or experiences
certificate format (provided by him)

Best of luck Kamal and Jaggy

>>>As he had work at lots of places, in my opinion it can take 1-2 weeks, you know the lazy system in India, however he would be
demanding the experience letter as per CIC standard, it won't be according to company's standard.

>>>you may be right on PCC

>>>Ielts, Ok...When he gonna apply...there are only two intake for IELTS in a month for GT and he also need time to prepare the
IELTS, its not like go and sit in exam...end of the day, better result pay more point for immigration. In mumbai, the next Ielts sittings are on 12 May(gone),26May(rare chance to get a seat),9June,30June,12 and 21 July. And remember You have to apply 7 days b4 the test atleat, and there is no grauntee that if you have applied and your sitting will be confirmed. In my opinion if he would think about IELTS now, he can be fit for 9th June and agreed with you that he shall get his IELTS certificate b4 30th June...if he will get the post safely!!!

HI jaggy bro

@  syrust I won't count his education pts as 22 , the simple reason being "Obtained a three-year diploma, trade certificate or apprenticeship (other than university) AND completed at least 15 years of full-time or full-time equivalent studies"

I know you are concerned about AND

but i think he has done his Grade 12 and apprenticeship and one part time diploma as well
so if he has done apprenticeship after grade 12 means 12 years and Three years apprenticeship total is already 15 years.

so he will get 22 points for education as i am concerned.

you tell me how is he not eligible for 22 points

he has got Technical trade and also his education is 15 years (Grade 12 is 12 years and then 3 years for Apprenticeship) actually he has more because he has part time diploma too.

(I have seen a case of a girl who did M.Com correspondence, which was for three years (regular is two years) she got 25 points for her education)

check out once again

paying Rs. 2000 to any consultant is not a big deal but i don't think its required when everything is on WWW.CIC.GC.CA.

if you can't access your own education how do you think a consultant can? they are not immigration officers who are going to give you visa.

Thanks

@  syrust I buy ur point dear......frm wat I see as per Indian education, he has 12 yrs of full time study after which he has done part time diploma....I don't know how to count that.

For him to get 22 full edu pts......he has to have 15 yrs of full time study AND a three-year diploma, trade certificate or apprenticeship (other than university)

But for me he has only 12 yrs full time study.....since I can't confirm myself I won't give him ny suggestion........my idea is to provide help if I'm sure abt wat Im sayin ......I can't give him vague explanation on pts......2000 bucks is a gud deal if we can confirm this part frm a consultant, wen i see that most of us r nt confident nd as babbubhai said his case is also complex, so its better to be dealt by sum expert. Even Qorax asked him to get expert advice

Hey Jaggy

I know someone in Y Axis and they approached me & asked for Rs. 1000 for a detailed written eligibility review but I didnt go with them & filled my case myself..

So if you need then I can let you know his number & you can forward the details to him or you forward ur friends details to me & I can forward to them...

They Need

Complete Resume-- JOb Res. & all
Scanned copies of Certificates
IELTS Score (He can Provide that later )
Any Blood relative information...

And as i said in my earlier post that he could be eligible if he got education certificate for his apprenticeship but I believe he is not having that as in INDIA rarely people give that...

Might be he will get point for his part time edu...
Check the thread again...

Hey Kamaljit

I would like to tell you that you have enough exp to apply but as your friend mentioned that you need to have 67 points which you can only have if you have at-least 14 years of full or equivalent to full time study..

Now the question comes.. do you have any educational certificates during your apprentice... I believe not...

If not then you need to make sure that your 4 years of part time education gives you how many hours per week... For that you need to get a transcript from your college or university.. & CIO & CIC will consider that in that way... (If possible)

check the following link:

As part time work exp is also considerable... 37.5 hours are required for full time work. But if someone has 20 hours a week part time exp of 2 years it means that he will get 1+ year exp benefit.

The same should be applicable for studies... So need to check for your 4 years part time education.. as CIO also gives the points for correspondence as well as distance learning edu. study...

I would suggest to talk to some good lawyer... But before talking to them call to Abhinav.com; get an assessment from David Cohen; Y-Axis; *****.. This is the initial stage so that assessment will be done free of charge.. You dont need to pay anything at all. Just ask them about your part time course...

Rest everything will be ok... Be positive.. Good night for now..  Smiley Smiley Smiley Smiley Smiley

Rawlin

Thanks & Regards
