Hi Rawlin,

I have a doubt regarding to this issue.. check on http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/funds.asp

The Government of Canada does not provide financial support to new skilled worker immigrants.

You must show that you have enough money to support yourself and your dependants after you arrive in Canada. You cannot borrow this money from another person. You must be able to use this money to support the costs of living for your family.

I have read funds info on one of the thead..." funds should be on the name of Principal Applicant or dependent (who will also land to Canada). You have done a mistake...if your father is not coming with you as a dependent...then I have a doubt!!
Get all the funds transfer on your name (I know there would be loss of interest) and update your details to CHC asap.

might be you are right man but the money belongs to me & it has my name on it.
as fas as the FDR is concerned then it says my name on it as well & I gave the affidavit for the same from my dad..
What do you say.. Huh
& I need more opinions on this ...

Hi Rawlin,

If FDR has u r name den don't worry & there is no need of affidavit becoze it may create unnecessary confusion.

My suggestion is if u r FDR get matured then u need to tranfer whole on ur name becoze there will be only more or less 0.30% difference between sr.citizen & normal interest rate which is negligible.

1. Xerox of FDRs
2. Affidavit from my Dad
3. Letter from Bank on their letter head
4. My Saving Bank Account Statements
5. My Other Post Office Deposit Photocopies...

No I dont know if they need anything else too.. Huh

dat's Sufficient.

POF needed after MR & RPRF,i think during PPR  vo may demand Bank Statement & other document.

In the mean while if u FD gets Matured u can trans whole by u r name, dat wl be f9.
