I been in USA for 4 years. I was on student visa. I already submitted PCC from FBI. I am just asking to jaggy that is it really takes long for who visited or lived abroad. But in my case I will be happy if process delays couple of months cuz I am planning to marry in sep.

Sorry for not showing up on forum, as I am busy working 6-7 days a week.
I still have no news for AOR, I don't know why NDVO is taking too long to send me AOR.

May be its the same reason that i have been living in Canada from long time.
I haven't submitted my PCC as well.

We guys think that once our file is received by NDVO, we must get an AOR......This is what I found on CIC India site:

"Within 6 weeks of your application being received at this office,  you will receive an Acknowledgement of Receipt.  This letter will include your unique file number.  Your file will be placed in a queue awaiting review. Once your file has been reviewed, we will contact you to advise the results of the review and any next steps you need to take.  If your address or contact information changes during processing, you must inform this office in writing.  Please include your file number in all correspondence."

sorry bro I haven't gone thru ur timelines.........so count 20 days for the appln to arrive from nova scotia to NDVO and then 6 weeks .......so almost 2 months after PER(mayb members have to wait for 2 months to get aor after gettin PER)

But CIC checklist asks only for the pages which have biodata and picture then how come you submitted the whole thing. now I'm worried....

need to send them them the notarial copy of your full passport for hassle free processing!! Choice is yours

What  I know that since passports are computerized and if you give them the passport numbers and date of travels they do their own investigations as they are inter-related to other immigration offices.

Actually I was told by my consultant that one of their client was deported from Poland and this client did not tell the consultant about this and so nothing was mentioned in the application as well. His PR got rejected because they found out that he was once deported from Poland.
