I have tell my fren thats its not sure but the consultant assure them nothing will gonna happen once you have AOR...you can leave your jobs and now prepare to fly within 6 months...the bad part is that they cant check their ecas as we do cause their information are all held by the consultant...Ohhhh see...what to do with my fren but lets hope they everybody will get their visa stamped soon..

Hi guys, just now stumbled upon this section of CIC Website where they have clearly mentioned that now they are processing the files really fast. According to CIC Website... http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/media/notices/notice-qa.asp.....In the last Q&A section they have clearly mentioned that "If you have the skills Canada needs now, your application would likely be processed much faster – new FSW applications are processed within 6-12 months". Can any one explain me in regular english what is this new notice... I mean I have some questions.... 1. When they talk about FSW.. are they talking about FSW1, FSW2, & FSW3?  .. doesn't matter what VO?? Buffalo is so slow.. (WHY???) 2. When they say the new FSW are faster... they refer from what date? 3.. Don't get exactly what they meant with: Under the proposed changes, CIC would close Federal Skilled Worker applicants' files if they:
applied before February 27, 2008, and
have not had a decision made by an immigration officer based on selection criteria by March 29, 2012. (information on selection criteria is below) |

But each specific VO has its own backlog and heavy traffic of applications. Buffalo is also high traffic}
2. When they say the new FSW are faster... they refer from what date? { that includes processing of Ministerial instructions no.3 valid from 2010 applications}
3.. Don't get exactly what they meant with:
Under the proposed changes, CIC would close Federal Skilled Worker applicants' files if they:
applied before February 27, 2008, and
have not had a decision made by an immigration officer based on selection criteria by March 29, 2012. (information on selection criteria is below)
{ Pre Feb 2008 applications stopped processing after 29th March 2012.}

(information on selection criteria is below)Those applied before FEB 27,008 have done medical and status updated to decision made are through but those who waiting for Medical will have their application back with refund....after the backlog reduction their prediction is due to workload cut of they would be faster but keep in mind different visa office have different volume of application so still depends on visa office ....
