hey guys just had a doubt.....is it ok I have sent a photocopy of my FD (it forms 80% of my POF) and the rest I have shown as bank account money......does NDVO accept photocopies of FD.....I read suwher that statements of FD will do......but the bank has no idea wat a statement of FD is?

Now a day, all Indian banks are aware about bank certificate..what you have to do is...
Get a bank balance certificate (Get one letter with your and your partner bank details) including your FD,saving and current a/c balance on it. After that you need the get a up to date notary attested photocopy your bank book/statement and FD.
Send this to VO bcoz, balance certificate got all contact details of bank as well as your a/c details. If VO will call to bank and quote
the ref number to manager/staff...they will state away clear the query.....this is the best way to provide the proof of funds...

The balance certificate or current bank certification letter provided by me has wrong date as 29.02.2011 instead of 29.02.2012. The bank made a mistake.

However members have told me to wait for AOR from VO and then provide the VO with bank updated letter , which I have already obtained from my bank.

Also my FD and current bank certificate are from two different banks and hence  I could only provide the bank certification letter of savings ac.

this is smart work done by senior...but I would suggest you to get saving/current account statements,FD copy (notarial)
with a bank certificate after you may get your AOR, so that it can be bit more upto dated and write a letter to VO and tell
them about the reason for writing this letter!!

My application reached to nova scotia on 19/10/11 under 7216, got PER on 20/10/2011,,got second AOR from NDVO on 15/11/2011 but than after nothing is heard my ecas status shows in process and we rcvs yr app on XXXX..Kindly update my details and any comment from experience guys?
