Thanks ejamal! I was not aware that I could track the status of a money order.
I just called CIBC, but they said that I will have to go to my branch to get the status. They don't provide that information over the phone.
Any chance to get your app status? |

I'm out of town until Sat so I won't be able to get my money order status soon. (CIBC told me that I would have to check its status with the branch that I purchased my money order from). Lesson learnt: Don't use CIBC money order! |

IMO, paying with credit card is the best option. It's fast and no need of bank fees.

My application package was received by CIC on Dec 15th. It's not been cashed yet.
Any updates from who sent their application to CIC around the middle of December 2011?

I think it would be logical for me to assume that all of us picked buffalo to be the our VO. With that in mind do any of you guys know any thing about the expected processing time in our case?
