Hi edwin, I noticed the change in my credit card account balance today morning. It is yet to appear on my statement. It will probably take 2-3 days.

So as I understand I will be getting an email soon acknowledging the receipt of my application?

Thanks, JBR. Good luck to you Wink

I think you can call or go to your branch and ask them.

I just checked the CIC website and there was only 20 new applicants since last Tuesday. Now down to
130 applicants.

Hey,thx,,,I went to the the bank branch and they told me my money order has been cashed...is it good? I am still very worry...

oh, so how did you check your ecas status without any email or notifications?

Hey, JBR, you can check your ECAS using your client ID, which you can find from your study permit, if you have one.

It is good! that means that at least you send all the proper documentation requested. Things are getting speed, it looks like.

Good for you! Lets all hope we get PER letter soon! It would be so nice if they could do this on a fast track mode and we could land by august!

I have a question guys. According to the discussion between snow_walker and other guys (in page 6), the ecas status is “In Process”. Based on the link that snow_walker posted, the “In process” status happens after PER. Does it mean those applications have passed the PER step?

as MASSOUD said, this may be our case:
https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/redir.do?redir=app_perm_com&lang=en&app=ecas

But no ones knows for sure so far, as it seems no one here has received a PER so far.

Do you guys think you are going to have a MUST FINISH PHD CLAUSE in the PR or something like this, in order
to avoid people quitting after getting landed status? O

It doesn't show me anything yet. Perhaps after couple of days, I'll be able to see something.

Hi guys I am wondering if any of you have applied a CEC in addition to the PhD stream? I think I am eligible for both but not sure if submitting 2 applications at the same time is a good idea. I know it is permitted to do this but worry if applying two classes at the same time has any negative impact.

They are certainly speeding things up.
