EDIT: I noticed from ejamal's medical request that the email subject contains 'file number'. Was this the same as application number? Or did they assign you a new number? Thanks, man, just curious Smiley

Yes, it was the same number.

Hi Guys,
To those friends who got fund approval request (MASSOUD, Creazyleader,...), did you submit any bank statement with your application in the beginning?
If yes then why they are asking it again?
I submitted one with my app. with only 8,000. However, we are supported by the funds we get from university. Shouldn't they consider this as well?

I did not. Instead, I submitted a letter from my bank indicating my a/c infor, balance, etc.

That's what I meant. A letter from bank indicating balance...
Why should they ask it again from you?

I think they were asking for activities for the last 6 months of the account. I am sure that most of us did not actually submit 6 months worth of account activities (I submitted only 3 months, and several other folks here only submitted the bank balance). TyrusX speculated that it could be due to the fact that they are from Iran (since the two that had received such letters are Iranian). We will see whether this would affect people of other nationalities as well, hopefully within the next couple of days.

Hi all,

I just called the CIO center, the agent told me that my case is in Ottawa.

So I supposed that all cases receiving PER on March should be in Ottawa now.

Hi moobow2010, did you ask specifically for your application, but just applications sent to Buffalo in general? If it was the former, then I may consider calling them as well, asking them if they have received my file Cheesy

Hi,
I clearly asked for my application information, cause I was asked to provide my personal details including UCI number.

I called them because I need to update some information in one of my forms.

Then, Grin, the agent is very kind to tell me where I should send my updates.

I am sure they should receive yours, since your PER date is close to mine, right?

But calling them won't be a bad idea.

How to make sure that application is received and in processing stage??

Just out of curiosity, I actually did call them (asking them about the closure of Buffalo, whether to resend corrections, and stuff), and they did told me that my application had been sent to Ottawa, and that I did not need to resend the correction that I have already sent to Buffalo. They told me they didn't know if it has been received by Ottawa though. I'm not sure if it means that they have finally gotten to sending March PER applicants. I guess it would depend on whether they sent the applications to Ottawa as soon as PER was issued, or only after a while.

Hi tahhir, just give it some time. I think your timeline can still be considered normal, only that it's a bit longer than most people have experienced lately (taking 2 weeks to get cashed). If everything is fine, I'm sure you'll get your PER within 2 to 3 weeks (unless they significantly restructure stuff again). After PER, then it will be a long wait until medicals (and you won't hear anything in between it seems).

You may add me into the tracking spreadsheet:

Hi otacon, can you also add the time your credit card got charged? Just for completion Smiley
