Yep, I agree. I have to confess that when I came to Canada, I was completely oblivion to immigration. Then I went to Brazil in 2011 and I saw Quebec advertising on national television! However, there would be still fewer Europeans than Asians, just because most humanity lives in Asia! Tongue

Quebec advertising in Brazil? Don't they know you all speak Portuguese and not French? Maybe it was the advert for French Guiana?

French and Portuguese are very close Romance languages, so they think Brazilians will be more interested in immigrating there than in the English speaking parts of Canada.

Hi megha,
Yes, you can use Canadian ID. I used Canadian ID as well and got positive review.

TyrusX and snow_walker are the only users with access to the spreadsheet, so I'm assuming one of them would be the one to update it to include your information. Anyway, did you include TA/RA experience in your application as well? Good luck, and expect to be cashed within two weeks Cheesy

No, I did not include any TA experience. I did submit annual doctoral fellowship award letters which at our institution are equivalent to RA assignment. However, I did not need to claim RA as experience as I was able to claim 4+ years of university teaching and 4+ years of university program administration experience. My CC has not been charge as of yet (hope money leaves my account soon  Smiley ).

GeoCanadian, our app reached about the same time. I presume ours will be in the same batch. So let me know if you have any activity on your end. I'll let you know if there's any on mine

Absolutely, websphereguy - let's do so. Hope we see some activity in this coming week... Good luck...

P.S. I see you have successfully created your forum profile timeline. When I try to create mine and click on "Profile" in the upper right hand corner I see "Modify Profile" category appear on the left side of the screen. However, there is no "Forum Profile" link in the list - just "Account Related Setting" link is there. Is there something I am doing wrong? How to find "Forum Profile" link? Help is much appreciated...

GeoCanadian,

Glad to hear from you. Let's keep each other posted.

As to your other question, when you click on 'Profile' in the top menu, you'll be redirected the profile settings page. In which you will find the link for 'Forum Profile Information' under the Modify Profile category. Click on that to be able to make modifications to your profile. However, I have a funny feeling that all this feature is will only be enabled as you progress further - meaning, only when you have been an active forum member up to certain degree, do certain features get enable for you. I believe, for modifying profile, you'll need to have posted up to 10 comments at the very least.

Likewise, for posting URLs,  you can only do so, when you have reached another upper level which I am not sure of. As of the moment, anytime I try to put in a URL, the website does not allow me to do so.
