My wife has done her FA (post secondary) as privated candidate.She did not go to any college for this 2 year certificate. But after that she did her B.Com (Bachelors degree) from University, which a normal candidate gets after a 14 years of full time study. Would her 2 years private study would be acknowledged by CIC and can fetch me 4 points against adaptability factor.

Yes for sure.

But I think 14 years of education  of your spouse will fetch you 3 points not 4.

It seems credit is only given for credentials earned from approved institutions.  You can also do a search at the top right corner of the forum page and you will find all sorts of discussions on this topic.  Good Luck.
