appeal process

So, I've finally heard from the Canadian Border Services Agency about our file finally being in Canada. The letter was forwarded to me by our lawyer on Monday and it was written last week. At the end of the letter it says that in due time we will hear from the Immigration and Refugee Board about our appeal date.

Is anyone out there in the same or a similar situation? Any guesses as to when my appeal will be? I will appeal in Vancouver.

Thanks so much, I just really need to rest my head a little.

Our appeal was about a year after I sent in the notice that I wanted to appeal. If you get an ADR hearing, it should be quicker.
